Science and Arts Festival
In the Fall of 2021, between the COVID outbreaks, the Sorbonne University showcased the first Science and Arts Festival. We presented our two collaborative projects, "The Emotional Reins" with Amy Hamblin (Seattle, Washington) and "The Song of the Zebrafish" with Argan Verrier and Hugues Genevois (Musicology dept).
Fête de la Science
In the Fall of 2018, during the "Fête de la Science" at the Sorbonne University, we showed the public why zebrafish embryos are valuable for scientific research. Post-docs and students from the Hong and Mangin labs participated in educating the public about the spinal cord research done in our labs. We hung some zebrafish drawings (made especially for this event) that kids from members of our institute coloured to make the area more festive.
